We’re growing rapidly here at Bridgehouse and if you are feeling ready to shine in your next Consultancy role as a Company Secretary or Minute Taker then please take a couple of minutes to read on, because we’d love to talk.

We are looking for contractors to help support our amazing team, in particular we require people who have experience of working within Investment Trusts, Financial Service sectors and meeting heavy environments.

What you can expect

The specific projects we require support with at the moment are within the regulated finance sector and include working with some of our clients that require meeting support for their Board and Committee meetings.  This may include provision of end to end meeting support and attendance at meetings (some in person but mainly virtual) to produce minutes for the client. You may also be required to provide governance advice to clients on an ad hoc or ongoing basis.

To that end we require contractors to have high level experience of drafting minutes within the financially regulated sector, with the ability to summarise complex financial discussion and ensure perfect past tense throughout.

We are looking for individuals who are at home working in fast-paced, pressurised environments and are able to work flexibly to meet client  demands.

Above all we value honesty, consistency, integrity and respect, because our view is that the Company Secretary is the moral compass of the businesses they support. Genuine hard work and talent is always recognised by our business.

Our team will provide you with support and induction as needed to help you build relationships with our clients so you can help us to deliver the best possible service.

About you
  • We’re looking for people who are highly organised, passionate and experienced
  • You should have at least five years post qualification experience gained in Investment Trusts, Financial Services or other meeting-heavy regulated environments
  • We love fresh-thinking people who embrace change and can work independently
  • We want people who are passionate about governance and keen to make a difference to clients
  • We need people who are ideally CGIUKI-qualified or have a proven track record working in a governance/company secretarial role
  • We’re looking for people who are comfortable presenters and dealing with people at Senior board level
